…inspects new digital studio equipment at NDTV
Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri today, was at the Ernest Ikoli Media complex to inspect the new digital studio equipment installed at the State owned Niger Delta Television.
The governor was conducted round different units by the Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Mr. Ayiba Duba and the Acting General Manager of the station, Mr. Fred Fabor.
The different studios visited include the recording studio, transmitter hall and live studio where the presenter on duty, David Amabra, interviewed him on general issues of the development in the state, and the forthcoming gubernatorial election as part of their test transmission.
Governor Diri also offered automatic employment to some casual staff who were recently trained to operate new broadcast equipment at the Television Station.
Governor Diri also visited the live studio of the state owned radio station, Radio Bayelsa located within the Media Complex.
