The Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Hon Ayiba Duba commends the leadership and entire Ekeki-Epie community for their peaceful disposition in accommodating and protecting government facilities, especially the Ernest Ikoli Media Complex.
The Commissioner gave the commendation during a courtesy call by the leadership of Ekeki-Epie Community in his office, Yenagoa.
Hon. Duba who lauded the hospitality of the Ekeki-Epie people towards government, expressed the readiness of government to partner communities for the growth of the State.

He noted that the urban renewal drive of the government is to build a modern State for all. He therefore implored traditional rulers, youth, business owners, organisations and the cooperation of all communities for accelerated development.
Responding, the Acting Paramount Ruler of Ekeki-Epie Community, HRM Alia Neze thanked government for identifying with his people, by siting major projects in his community; notably the Ernest Ikoli Media Complex.
He noted that the people of Ekeki-Epie are peaceful and would collaborate with government to achieve set goals in the State.
