…happy with their new life experience
…urges Bayelsa youths to shun crime and criminality
“It is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. We flagged off this programme with 366 persons, and today, we are here again with the same 366 trainees, and not one missing.
We are happy that you showed commitment, and today, you have graduated. On behalf of your government, we congratulate you.
We can build all the roads, but if we don’t build the human capacity, where will you have human beings to go and buy cars to drive on the roads. There can be no better investment in the youths more than what we have done, and I will like to call on our youths to move away from crime and criminality and become useful to themselves and the society.
Don’t take this likely because you are pioneers of the sustainable development goals programme in this prosperity government, and you have to affect not only yourselves and your families, but others. That is when you would have taken prosperity to our state, and shared it with others. Instead of you looking for jobs, you are the ones employing others.”
