… charges Pere to keep existing peace in the Kingdom
Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri today graced the coronation of Dr. Seiyifa Koroye as the new Pere of Tarakiri Kingdom, the (Tarakiri-Owei VIII) in Ebedebiri, in Sagbama Local Government Area of the State.
Governor Diri who is also a Chief in the Tarakiri Council of Chiefs, congratulated him and charged him to keep the existing peace in Tarakiri Kingdom.
“We have just witnessed the formal coronation of the Pere of Tarakiri Kingdom. A very peaceful coronation having gone through the constitutional requirements of becoming the Pere of Tarakiri.
Let me on behalf of the Government of Bayelsa State, the Prosperity Government, the traditional Rulers Council, here with us, the Chairman, King of Ekpetiama, Bubaraye Dakolo and all other Royal Highnesses, Majesties and the people of Bayelsa State, say, congratulations to our latest and new addition to the Traditional Rulers Council of Bayelsa State.
“My charge to you is that you have to work to keep the existing peace in Tarakiri Kingdom. My charge to you is that you continue to work with the Traditional Rulers Council of Bayelsa State ably led by Bubaraye Dakolo, King of Ekpetiama Kingdom and that you will bring your knowledge, your wisdom into that Council and that Council will also benefit from your wealth of experience, “Governor Diri said.
On the occasion, the Governor also presented the Staff of Office to the King.

Michael Ogbere, Deputy Speaker, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Chief, Thompson Amule,Hon.
