…as Gov.. Diri commits to completing inherited/abandoned projects

Governor of Cross-River State, Sen. Bassey Otu, has inugurated Collector Road 24 Okaka, Bayelsa State as part of activities marking the 5th Prosperity Administration under Governor Douye Diri.

Governor Otu who is the Vice-Chairman, South South Governors Forum, commended Governor Diri for the many developmental projects, stressing that government is a continuum and that is exactly what the Bayelsa State helmsman has done, completing projects inherited from precious administrations.

Governor Diri of Bayelsa State at the event stated that the prosperity administration would complete all projects started by his government and those inherited.

The Collector Road 24 Okaka is 1.475 km with a width of 9M on either side, having a shoulder of 2 metres on both sides.

Other features include a 15 metres diameter Roundabout separated by a central Median of 1.5 metres wide with dual drains and more.

Other dignitaries at the occasion include Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Hon. Fred Agbedi, member representing Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, Speaker, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Secretary to Government, Professor Nimibofa Ayawei, Chief of Staff Government House, Dr. Peter Akpe, members of the State executive council, Local Government Chairmen, Traditional Rulers and other appointees.
