His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State has led a delegation from the state to the Abuja home of late Ijaw icon, Pa Edwin Clark, for a condolence visit.
Two illustrious sons of the state, former President Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR and former Governor, Sen. Seriake Dickson, later joined the delegation for the visit.



On the entourage of Governor Diri were members of the National Assembly from the state, other top government officials and royal fathers.
In his remarks, Governor Diri, described the passing of the foremost Ijaw leader as a sad moment for the people of the region, insisting that “we owe Pa Clark the duty of keeping his memorable legacies alive.”
