… as Gov. Diri assures of more appointments to supporters
Members of the Bayelsa State Executive Council have been dedicated to God as they begin work for the success of the Prosperity Administration in this second term.
At the dedication service during the daily Morning Devotion at the King of Glory Chapel also attended by the Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Gov. Diri said God remains the chief driver of his administration and urged commissioners to work as a team.
The Governor assured other supporters and party faithful to be patient as more appointments will come soon.
“We just concluded with appointments of Commissioners. I know our people are waiting. We still have Special Advisers, Technical Advisers, SSAs, Boards, Commissions, let’s have some more patience.”
“This time around, we will continue to support our women with loans and grants to grow their businesses. Politicians should also begin to inculcate business interests so that after their service, they have something to earn a living. Let’s begin to think Bayelsa First.”
Apostle David Zilly Aggrey led other men of God to pray for the new Commissioners and other top government officials to dedicate them to God and service of Bayelsa State.
