Bayelsa Basketball Teams won the male and female categories in the just concluded Nestle Milo Schools Basketball Championship in Lagos.
Represented by students of St. Jude’s Girls Secondary School, Amarata and Bishop Dimeari Grammar School (BDGS), Ovom, respectively, they are representing Nigeria at the ongoing 2022 World School Basketball Championship in Belgrade, Serbia.
It is worthy of note that Nigeria is the only African country competing in the championship that will end on 28th September.
