Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Hon. Ayiba Duba stated that government will partner the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), to introduce Prosperity Television Programme in the State.
Hon. Duba said the programme will propagate activities of the Prosperity administration of Governor Douye Diri to a widespread audience.
The Commissioner who made the remark when management of NTA, Channel 28, Yenagoa paid him a courtesy call, lauded staff of the station for their cordial relationship with government and added that government would assist the station achieve its desires for accelerated and effective reportage of programmes in the State.
Earlier, the General Manager of NTA, Channel 28, Yenagoa, Barr. Emeka Okpala stated that NTA owes government the social responsibility of constructive criticism and accurate dissemination of government programmes.
Barr. Okpala who noted that NTA has been in operation for over seventeen years, in the State, prayed for more synergy to encourage a robust working relationship.
