The Bayelsa State Government has reiterated its commitment of taking the prosperity agenda to a logical conclusion in the state.
The Commissioner of information Orientation and Strategy Hon. Ayiba Duba disclosed this when the management of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Yenagoa Branch paid him a courtesy call in his office in Yenagoa.
Hon.Duba noted that the main intention of the present administration has been the introduction of policies and programs aimed at improving the prosperity of the citizens and urged all and sundry to key into the programs of the government.
The Commissioner implored the management of NTA Yenagoa to key into the agenda of the government by disseminating the right messages of peace, stressing that there could be no progress in an environment devoid of peace.
Hon. Duba assured the NTA management of the Ministry’s collaborate with the station, to further cement the relationship between the Government and the Media outlets in the state.
He expressed happiness over the posting of Ms Dauju Whyte as the new General Manager to the Yenagoa station, hoping it would be like a home coming for her.
Earlier, the General Manager of the NTA Yenagoa Station, Ms Dauju Whyte thanked the Commissioner for meeting with the management of the station, adding that the aim of the visit was to acquaint him with the new General Manager of the station and solicit for better working relationship between the Ministry and the Station.
