Civil Servants have been charged to employ due diligence and the fear of God in the discharge of their duties.

She reminded staffers that service in all capacity is Service to humanity and to the glory of God, adding that in due season God rewards.
The Head of Service expressed gratitude to the State Governor, Senator Douye Diri for being magnanimous towards the welfare of civil servants, noting that the State Civil Service recorded a huge success in 2024 due to the Governor’s free hand of fellowship.

Reading from Prov. 21: 1-5I, in his sermon titled “Where Does Your Help Come From,” Apostle Emmanual Tombara noted that human help comes from God. He therefore urged civil servants to always depend on God in the discharge of their duties.
He enumerated conditions that would attract God’s help, to include: having the fear of God, humility, love for one another, execution of true judgment, and others.
Highlights of the occasion include: Prayer for divine direction in 2025, prayer for divine protection to all civil servants, prayer for the HOS and her team, prayer for mutual understanding between political leaders and civil servants.
