Bayelsa State Secretary to State Government SSG Professor Nimibofa Ayawei has congratulated the Children who participated and won prices in the 2nd edition of Children’s Day online challenge and essay competition.

The SSG applauded the kids when hosted Mr. Emma Ecco Osagede, President of Ecolax Group, the organisers of the competition, the children and the proud parents, in his office in Yenagoa.

Professor Ayawei expressed who happiness to the Kid’s brilliant performances especially Master Jesse Tarila Mbukpa who won 1st Prize in the on-line competition announced a cash prize of #2 million naira to Master Jesse Tarila Mbukpa who won the 1st Prize, to support his primary education at the British International Academy Yenagoa while Miss Ebimobowei Oyinprebi Success, the winner of the essay category to receive #640, 000 for school fees.

He used the occasion to appreciate the parents and the team who made the competition possible noted that education was the key to brighter future and urged well meaning Bayelsans to support the young talents.

“Huge congratulations to all the kids for their brilliant performances. Special shoutout to Master Jesse Tarila Mbukpa, who won 1st Prize in the online competition, I’m sponsoring his primary school fees with ₦2 million to support his education at British International Academy, Yenagoa.

Also, Miss Ebimobowei Oyinprebi Success, winner of the essay category, will receive ₦640,000 for her school fees to help her focus on her studies.

Grateful to the parents and the hardworking team who made this possible. Education is the key to a brighter future, and it’s our duty to support these young stars”, he added.

The parents also sent warm birthday wishes to His Excellency Senator Douye Diri on his 66th birthday, a wonderful way to celebrate and remember this special day.
