The Bayelsa State Civil Service Commission on Saturday 26th July, 2025 conducted its 2025 Written Promotion Examination for senior management cadre, at the Faculty of Law, Niger Delta University, in Yenagoa.
Addressing newsmen at the end of the exam, the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Perekiye Buruboyefe, appreciates the State Governor His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, for his magnanimity, love and concern for Civil Servants welfare, prompt payment of salaries and up-to-date implementation of promotions as something spectacular to the prosperity government.
On the exam, the Chairman assured candidates of meritorious and hitch free promotion exercise. According to Mr. Buruboyefe, only those who will be successful both in the written and oral interview will be promoted to the next positions. He noted further that the exam is to test candidates going from grade Levels 14 to 17 professional proficiency, with the understanding of the public service rules and current affairs.
Oral interview is slated to start from 4th August, 2025.
Levels 14 going to Levels 15
Levels 15 going to Levels 16, and
Levels 16 going to Levels 17.
