… as Gov. Diri makes appearance at Mega Concert at Ox-Bow

… appreciates Isenah, Emma Eco, other organisers

To demonstrate his love for the growth of entertainment industry in Bayelsa State, Governor Douye Diri, last night made appearance at a mega concert held at the Ox-Bow Lake in Swali, Yenagoa.

The Governor who was thrilled by the performance of young talented Bayelsans, assured that the state government would make more investment in the entertainment industry and create an office to manage the sector in the second term.

While granting the request of the popular young Ijaw musician, the Tari Oge crooner, Roland Francis Jeff, for a brand new set of musical instruments, the Governor said his government would continue to support young Bayelsans to excel in their chosen careers.

The Governor equally awarded scholarship to music kid sensation, Nembe-born Triumph Arthur Ikonigha, for him to study music.

The amazing crowd at Ox-Bow Lake were so happy to have the Governor joined them for the show where Niger Delta export, Rema and ace comedian, Gordons along others thrilled the fans.

In the Governor’s entourage were three members of the National Assembly, Hon. Fred Agbedi, Hon. Oforji Oboku, and Hon. (Mrs.) Marie Ebikake as well as other top government officials.

A creative artist, Harry Tamunokuro, made a painting of the Governor within the period he was at the concert.
