The Commissioner for Information, Orientation, and Strategy, Hon. Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai has stressed the need for regular transparency briefing, in line with the Income/Expenditure Transparency law of 2012.
Hon. Obiyai made this known at the transparency briefing for the months of August and September 2024, presented on 25th October, 2024 at the Bayelsa State Treasury Building, Yenagoa.
She noted that the briefings were mandatory to express Government fiscal status.
Hon. Obiyai also informed that Government is collaborating with the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) to ensure power is restored in the State.
While presenting the report, the Technical Adviser on Treasury, Revenue and Accounts, Mr. Timipre Seipulou stated that funds are appropriately expended to achieve government developmental goals.
