Bayelsa State Commissioner for Trade, Industry & Investment, Dr. Ebieri Jones, accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Azebi Toyin, Director Industries, Mrs. Timinebifi Alazigha and Director Trade, Mrs. Obinipre Walson, visited Wisdom Kieribo Nylon Plastic And Waste Recycling Company Limited in Yenagoa, to ascertain the level of preparedness and possible means of partnership and supports.
While conducting the Commissioner and his team round the factory, the CEO
Wisdom Kieribo Nylon Plastic And Waste Recycling Company Limited, Hon. Wisdom Kieribo, explained that all is now set for the commissioning of the factory.
He further noted that they have purchased and installed some of the basic machines including cutting and recycling machines, required to begin production of all kinds of waterproof bags, nylon bags, branded thank you bags, plastics, slippers, rubbers etc.
While nothing that the factory will be commissioned by the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Hon. Kieribo said that in spite of commissioning and production, buyers have already started making demands and for them to meet up with the high demand, more bigger machines are required for mass production and not less than 100 workers will be employed and trained.
The Honourable Commissioner who commended Hon. Wisdom Kieribo for his laudable initiative and investment of converting Waste to Wealth, called on the Bank of Industry (BOI) and other financial agencies to support his initiative for mass production and expansion.
